I was sitting in my parked car next to a building near the intersection of Diamond Drive and Casino Drive in Lake Elsinore. There was a jolt strong enough to violently rock my car once, and gently sway it a few times after that. Not a small car, either. Strongest quake I've ever felt.

This quake seemed unusually odd. Normally a 4..0 I rarely feel but this one felt like a 6. It was scary. What was really weird about it was the explosion sound before the quake. I have never heard that before with a quake. Some people even said they heard two explosion sounds. Surprised this one was not all over the news.

It was very noticeable and was two events. The first shake was barely noticeable and if I was walking or in the shower, I likely would not have known it happened. But the second shake was less than two seconds later and was very unmistakable. There was rattling and my glass of water was moving but did not fall over.
